Scholarships

The SM Legacy Education Foundation is committed to educational excellence. We offer up to two (2) $1,000.00 scholarships annually to outgoing South Milwaukee seniors looking to pursue a degree or certification from a technical college. 

Scholarship Applicants Must:

• Be an SDSM student in good standing
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Submit a completed application by 3:00 pm on Monday, May 19, 2026

To Apply:

• Complete the application linked below and submit it to the South Milwaukee High School Student Services office along with
  • An essay that specifies
    • Intended area of study and career plans
    • Choice of technical college and program of study
    • High school preparation for college and career (courses taken, extracurricular activities, volunteer experiences, jobs, etc.)

Awardee Disbursement Requirements:  

• Completion of the first semester of college in good standing
• Submission of a copy of a report card or transcript to the SDSM District Office
