The SM Legacy Education Foundation is committed to
education excellence. We offer up to two (2) $1,000.00
scholarships annually to outgoing South Milwaukee
seniors looking to pursue a degree or certification from a
technical college. 
Scholarship Applicants Must:
 Be an SDSM student in good standing
 Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
 Submit a completed application by Tue May 19, 2026

To Apply:
 Complete application found on our website and submit it to the
South Milwaukee High School Guidance Office along
with
o An essay that specifies
 Intended area of study and career plans
 Choice of technical college and program of
study
 High school preparation for college and
career (courses taken, extracurricular
activities, volunteer experiences, jobs, etc.)

Awardee Disbursement Requirements (how to get your money):  
 Completion of the first semester of college in good
standing
 Submission of a copy of report card or transcript to
the SDSM District Office
